Powered and automated gates are becoming an increasingly common feature in commercial developments, public buildings, and multi-unit residential complexes across Ireland. While they offer convenience and security, they must be installed and maintained to the highest safety standards. Unfortunately, there have been serious incidents in recent years involving poorly fitted or neglected powered gates—including tragic fatalities.
