Flexible Learning Pathway - Core Competencies: Understanding Building Hardware

This robust training offering has been built by the industry for the industry, with over 500 years of combined knowledge. The complete course comprises over 175 learning outcomes, backed by 745 assessment criteria, all of which have approval from the awarding body, meaning each qualification sits on the Ofqual framework.

How does it work?

All learners are required to complete the core training course and at least one product area.

This ensures that learners are not sitting through training that isn't relevant to their role, the training is bespoke to their needs and is known as the 'cherry-pick'.

Once booked, learners and their managers are granted access to the DHF Training Academy website.  This website allows learners to manage their training journey and book additional modules as and when required.

Additional product modules can be booked at the same time or at a later date if required, allowing learners to select and add only the product areas relevant to their role.

Please note: For online courses, learners will need to confirm their identity by uploading a valid photo ID (passport or driving licence). We do not retain this information for longer than necessary, and it will be deleted from our system once it has been verified. Failure to provide a photo ID that clearly identifies the learner and confirms their name may result in the qualification being revoked.
